It was yet another difficult decision to pick just one winner for the cover! We had over 1300 entries for this edition's cover context and so many beautiful interpretations and uses of light!
In the end, we struggled to decide between the top two but this one stood out for so many reasons. It showcases many different kinds of light in just one image - harsh light, side light, light bokeh AND backlight on that leaf! It's so striking and the light really helps tell the story with that gorgeous leaf illuminated in the shape of his spine. Congratulations to Natalie Finney for this gorgeous creation!
We did notice that we have inadvertently featured a child on every single cover so far. This is entirely unintentional and we actually had thought to go more simple this time around but we couldn't resist this beautiful and unusual image by Natalie!
Our very close runner-up and therefore taking the back cover glory for the Light edition is this beauty by Anca Clivet!
