About Bex:
As well as running This Detailed Life magazine and community, Bex is the creative director of TDL magazine, organising submissions and deciding on final layouts. Her incredible eye for composition, colour and detail is evident in the curation of the photo galleries within the magazine, each page meticulously designed to complement the individual images and flow according to the current theme.
So if you want a portfolio that tells a story and maximises the strength of each photo then she's your gal!
Bex is also a storytelling photographer for families and brands and a self-confessed colour lover who's addicted to all things rainbow! She doesn't just fit into one niche though as she also experienced in nature and landscapes as well as food photography more recently too. Her work is highly personalised, colourful and distinctive and she loves to add a little creative flair with various techniques.
Bex is a Click Pro Master (see her submitted set here) with exceptional use of light and well known for her fun use of colour. She's has also been published on various international blogs such as Click, Dear Photographer and Hello Storyteller speaking about her love of details and how she likes to use movement in her photographs to create different moods and tell stories.
She has won various awards and been featured/published by the likes of Vogue Italia, National Geographic, Phlock Live, This is Reportage: Family, Documentary Family Awards, Click Magazine, Voice Collection, Unraveled, Digital Photographer Magazine, Elle Decoration and Grazia and was recently shortlisted in the Food Photographer of the Year Awards.

Fill in a detailed form ahead of the zoom chat.
Bex will view your questionnaire and portfolio in advance then discuss with you over zoom for approximately 1 hour.
She will review your portfolio and give feedback on images and your overall gallery with tips and advice on how you can improve based on the questionnaire you filled out in advance.
