As you know, our first cut of final images for the magazine are chosen anonymously by the team as well as a guest panel! However after the initial selection has taken place we unveil the artists to make sure that the available space is fairly distributed and not weighted in favour of any particular photographer.
What we often find though, is that one photographer does particularly stand out. And whilst we can't necessarily reflect this in the magazine we want to find a way of recognising their achievement. So "Artist of the Edition" has been born!
In our very first edition, we noticed that Morvern Shaw had a whopping ten images chosen anonymously by the first cut panel. After taking into consideration page layouts, we only published three of her beauties (leaving room for other artists to be featured of course!)
So let's celebrate them here instead... congratulations Morvern - you are our Artist of Edition 1 with this awesome selection of Quarantine themed photographs!
